Show Home Wedding loins Cedar, Milford Couple At a quiet wedding at the home of the groom Saturday, December De-cember 4, Miss Colleen Nolan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Nolan of Milford, and James H. (Jimmy) Urie, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Urie of Cedar City, were united in wedlock. The ceremony cere-mony was performed by Bishop A. E. Whatcott of the Cedar third ward, in the presence of members mem-bers of the immediate families. Miss Beverly Weston of Milford Mil-ford was bridesmaid and Roland Esplin of Cedar City was best man. Following the ceremony the young couple left on a short honeymoon trip in Nevada. The bride is a graduate of the Milford high school, and during the past year has resided in Cedar Ce-dar City where she has been employed em-ployed at the Iron county hospl- tal and in the County Assessor's office. The groom, a graduate of the Cedar City high school, is a veteran vet-eran of World War II, having spent three years with the Ordnance Ord-nance department, more than two of which were spent at Honolulu Hon-olulu and on Iwo Jima Island. At present he is employed at the Southwestern Distributing company com-pany In Cedar City. |
