Show OUR I SERVICE MEN AT HOME Service men are continuing to return home after receiving discharges dis-charges 'fioni military service, with two or three arriving nearly every riay. Among those who have returned return-ed in the past week are the following: follow-ing: Rex E. Bess, who left with the National Guard in March, 1941 and has had 2f months of overseas duty, serving in Normandy, France the Rhlneland and Germany. Forrest Leigh, who has been overseas ov-erseas for 19 months participating in the American drives through Normandy, Northern France, the Rhlneland and central Germany. Fred Batt. who was in the European Europ-ean theatre of operations for nineteen nine-teen months, and wears four battle stars for' campaigns in France and Germany. John C. Bonzo, another member of the local unit of the National Guard, and who has been overseas for 19 months, participating in the battles of Normandy, France and Germany. Gene C. Nelson, who left with the National Guard, but served in the Pacific theatre of operations instead in-stead of the European. He was on overseas duty for 38 months, and nnrtlclnnted in thp rnmnnlcms of the Marshall, Philippine, Marianas, and Ryukus Islands. Cpl. Ellis Williams of Kanarra, who served with a medical unit cf the Third Army in the European theatre of operations for 18 month?. He was awarded the purple heart for head wounds suffered in January, Jan-uary, 1945. He was a member of the Cedar battery of the National Guard. I Jack Woodbury, who has been in service for four years and eight months, but has not seen overseas duty. Clemont Adams, who served with the Army Air Forces in Italy, and who made 27 combat missions over enemy territory as a radio-gunner. ' I He left for overseas duty in Nov-' ember. 1944.
