Show Former Cedar Girl Marries In Nevada Miss Helen Clark, daughter of and Mrs. P. A. Clark of Las Vegas, former Cedar City residents, became be-came the bride of Staff Sergeant Lowell A. Griffiths at a lovely candlelight ceremony held last evening eve-ning at the home of her parents, with Bishop Reed Whipple reading the vows at the double ring services ser-vices before a small group of close friends and relatives of the bridal couple. The living room was decorated with large floral bouquets, and a bower of spring flowers served as the altar for the ceremony. Th" table was covered with a lace cloth, which centered a beautiful tiered wedding cake, flanked with tall white tapers. , The bride ws charming in a golden suit, with orchid accessories, and an orchid corsage. She was attended by Miss Gwcn .Davis, as ma d of honor, who wore M black and white afternoon dress, with matching accessories, and a floral corsage. P. A. Clark, father of th? bride gave her In marriage. Staff Sergeant George Forbs attended at-tended the bridegroom as the best man at the ceremony. The trlde is a former student of the Cedar City hlih school and a graduate of the Las Vegas high school. She Is a member of the PI chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She is employed at the Las Vegas army air field. Staff Sergeant Griffiths Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew H. Grlffltlis of Clarkston, Utah. He (was graduated from the Cache Vol ley high school, and attended the Utah State Agricultural College prior to his enlistment in the amy. He has been stationed at the Las Vegas army air field for the pnst year. Following the ceremony, a wedding wed-ding dinner honoring the bridal couple was held In the Uamona Room of the Hotel Last Frontier. Staff Sergeant and Mrs. Griffiths Grif-fiths plan to make their home In Las Vegas where the Segrcant wil. continue his duties "at the army air field. |
