Show Announce Marriage Of Ruth Berry Mr. and Mrs. John M. Berry announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter. Ruth, to Francis W. Bet-ensen, Bet-ensen, the marriage ceremony hav- Ing been performed at the Mantl i. D. S. Temple on December nth. Following a reception held at the Cedar Third Ward Recreation Hall on December 12th the young couple left on a honeymoon trip to California, after which they will make their home In Cedar City. About one hundred fifty guests called during the reception. The bride has been employed as a teller at the Bank of Southern Utah for the past couple of years, and also served as cashier at the Safeway store for sometime after having come to Cedar City from Nevada. She graduated from the Lincoln County high school t Panaca before moving to Cedar City with her family. The groom a graduate of the Branch Agricultural College and the Utah State Agricultural College at Logan. Is a World War II Veteran, Vet-eran, having served as a bomber pilot with the Army Air Forces. He was a prisoner of the Oerman government for fourteen months, winning his freedom at the end of the war In Germany. He was recently re-cently elected Treasurer of Cedar City, and will be sworn Into office on January 1st. |
