B B Arnold and Ray (irimshaw came B from Beaver Wednesday morning. Ar- B nold is here for the purpose of paint- B ing the home of F. L. Biederman. B B The Misses Ida and May (irimshaw B arrived here Tuesday from Beaver and B will visit for a week or two with their B sister, Mrs. M. S. Rogenon. . H B The regular Relief Society meeting H was held Wednesday afternoon at the H home of Mrs. Aurelia Stevens at Mid- BJ alley. A numer of cars from here H went out and the meeting was ery H well attended, there being 16 mem- J litis present. Bf H Mr. J. W. Mendenhall left Thurs- HJ day for Mapleton, Utah, where he HJ ami his family will make their home Hj His wife anil children will oin him Bj in a few dayi as thef are now visiting H flflv with Mrs. Mendenhall's mother at Cedar City. The girl's club met Thursday afternoon after-noon wtih Miss Dunford and the lo-i.il lo-i.il supervisor, Miss Jennie Rogcrson, ' and took up the subject of canning ; meats, having chicken as the particular particu-lar topic of discussion. Some of the meat wait canned as a demonstration. i Monday afternoon we were visited by the excursion in the interest of the County Farm Bureau, including prominent business men, farmers and housewives of Cedar (Tit y and vicinity. vicin-ity. They arrived late in the afternoon, after-noon, had lunch down at the Arm-! strong grove and spent the remainder of the evening in lively sports. Judging Judg-ing from the sounds of merriment emitted, they must have had an en-jo en-jo able time. |
