C -With the exception ex-ception of a very limited number from England, importation into tho United States of pure bred draft horses qr breeding purposes has been practically stopped by the outbreak of the European Euro-pean war. Fpr several years previous, from 2,600 tp 4,000 stallions and marea have been brought annually Into this country. In tho opinion of exports in the United States Department of Agriculture, Ag-riculture, however, tho standard of draft horsea in America will not suffer suf-fer from tho interruption of these Importations. There is, it is said, a sufficiently largo amount of pure blood already in the country to answer all requirements and the American draft horso will now have an opportu.
