Show FOR THE OBSERVANCE OF REGISTRATION DAY BUSINESS HOUSES AND PUBLIC BUILDINGS TO BE ORNAMENTED OR-NAMENTED WITH THE NATIONAL COLORS. Stirring Speeches at the Tabernacle Bcghuilng at 10:00 A. M. i.iukI Hall and Ceremonies Accompanying Presentation of Badges in the Evening at Ward Hall. Next Tuesday. June 5th, will be a mla day in Cedar City. The exterior of all the business houses, hous-es, as well as the interiors of the Tabernacle and Ward Hall, in which the ceremonies will be held, will be decorated with flags and the national colors. The city will be awakened by a salute of cannon in the morning morn-ing under the direction of S. P. Leigh, and a patriotic meeting will be held in the morning and a dance and appropriate ceremonies cere-monies will be given in the evening. ev-ening. Every consideration and respect re-spect will be shown to the young men who register on this day for patriotic duty. The day will be one long to be remembered in tho history of the town. All stores and places of business will be closed, and the day will be devoted to giving expression to sentiments of loyalty loy-alty and patriotism to country and the flag. Meeting at Tabernacle, 10 A. M. Beginning at 10 o'clock, a. m. a patriotic meeting will be held in the Tabernacle, to be presided over by Mayor T. J. Jones, when the following follow-ing program will be carried out: Music, under the direction of Mr. Salt. Invocation by the Chaplain, Jos. H. Armstrong. Girls' Chorus, direction of Miss Helen Nelson. Patriotic Address, Kev. ('. S. Rice Music. Address, Brin. Roy F. Homer. Vocal Duet, direction Miss Helen Nelson. Benediction, Chaplin Jos. H. Armstrong. Arm-strong. Evening Program at Hall. The evening social nnd ceremonies will be in charge of Dr. M. J. Mac-farlane. Mac-farlane. Dancing begins at 8:.'i0 sharp. At 9:30, ceremony of presenting of badges to the patriots having registered, regis-tered, and announcement of Cedar City's volunteers.
