Section 10, Chapter 45 of the session Laws of 1800 provides that no burial interment, or removal from tho state of any dead body shall be lawful until a permit has ben granted by the pro per order. Letters havo been recently received from the Secretary of tho State Hoard of Health in regard to the regis tration of vital statistics, and it, Is tin-intention tin-intention of tho Hoard to place Utah in line with other states by hereafter strictly enforcing the law in relation to these mutters. There has been a neglect of duty on the part of some parties whoso duty It Is to report these matters, to the extent that lu one of tho largest towns of our county there is not a birth on record iu the Clerk's office from tho fact that none havo been reported, and while some have been very prompt in this matter, others have sent in only partial par-tial rcnnrls Hooks nnd blanks will be furnished to persons whose duty it is to keep these registers and make reports upon application to the County Clerk.
