Show VJ MARRIAGE. O'Neil-McFadden. Mr. Richard O'Neil, a prominent Catholic of Nevada, wooed the heart of one of Salt Lake's most charming and literary young ladles, Miss Mary McFadden, a prominent school teacher in the public schools of the city, was the happy bride. Mis McFadden Mc-Fadden is a graduate of St Mary's academy, and has been a special correspondent cor-respondent of the Intermountain Catholic Cath-olic for two years. She has served in the same capacity on the Deseret News during the past year. Her communications com-munications to the Intermountain Catholic during the Buffalo exhibition attracted the attention of many readers. read-ers. Last summer, whilst spending her vacation in Idaho, her descriptive letters of the wild scenery and deserted desert-ed log cabins of abandoned mining camps in that state were most vivid and real. The ceremony took place at 7:30 Wednesday morning at St. Mary Magdalen's Mag-dalen's church. The marriage ceremony cere-mony was followed by a nuptial mass. Miss Gleason had her choir sing some select music during the mass. An "Ave Maria," by Miss Owens was artistically ar-tistically rendered. The ceremony was performed by Father Kiely. Mr. Fred McGurrin and Miss Jennie Sullivan Sulli-van acted as groomsman and bridesmaid. brides-maid. The bride wished to have the ceremony strictly private, but a large number of friends, who heard of the marriage, were present to extend their felicitations to the happy couple. The Intermountain Catholic unites with their many friends in , wishing Mr. and Mrs. O'Neil happiness and prosperity in their married life. |
