Show TRANSFER IS HADE. Frank J. Wescott Deeds Continental Hotel Corner to Senators Clark and Kearns. Deeds were filed for record yesterday afternoon by which Frank J. Wescott transferred toVW. A. Clark and Thomas Kearns the Continental hotel corner. The consideration was $S0.O0O, Senator Kearns and Senator Clark each owning an undivided un-divided half-interest. Mr. Wescott, who is private secretary to Senator Kearns, purchased the property prop-erty some time ago from its several own- j ers. The property is situated on the southwest corner of West Temple and First South streets. It has a frontage of 113 feet on First South and 174 feet on the West Temple side. The corner is now occupied by a small building used as a saloon known as the Continental bar. As to what kind of a building wiTl be erected on the corner, and what uses it will be put to has not been decided yet. Senator Kearns will meet Senator Clark in St. Louis the latter part of this month. At that time some decision in regard to the building will be reached. It is probable, it is understood, that an office building will be erected and that the offices of the San Pedro railroaJ may occupy a large portion of the structure. struc-ture. However, Senator Kearns will not give out any definite information on this subject until after the conference with Senator Clark. |
