Show I BUTTE. MONT. Cards announcing the marriage of Dr. T. J. Murray and Mrs. Alice Xoyes White have been received in Butte, sent out by Mrs. John Xoyes. who is in New York at present. The cards state that Dr. and Mrs. Murray will be at home after May 1. Mrs. James. Pace, one of the oldest residents of Butte, died Tuesday at the home of her daughters. Misses Nellie and Mary J. Pace of 26 Plum street, after a long illness. Besides the daughters daugh-ters mentioned, she is survived by a Son, James H. Pace, who is a patrolman patrol-man pn the local police force. Mrs. Pace was 60 years of age and a native of Pennsylvania. She came to Butte twenty-eight years ago. Her husband, who died in 1S86, was the first road-master road-master of the Utah Northern, and for a time was connected w ith the Oregon Short Line. Mrs. Pace was a devout ! Catholic, and a member of the Ladies of the Maccabees and the Degree of Honor. Her friends she numbered by the sc ore, and was held in high esteem by all who knew her. Miles Ferriek. aged 47 years, died Monday night at his home near the Five-Mile house. Mr. Ferrick's wire died a number of years ago, and he is survived by two sons, Michael, who is in the regular army stationed in the Philippines, and Patrick, a resident of Butte. A sister, Mrs. Mary Dougherty, lives in this city, and a brother resides j in Ireland. Mr. Ferriek was born in i County Gal way, Ireland, and resided in Butte twenty-five years. He was en- j gaged in mining for some time, but for many months past ran a roadhouse I near the Five-Mile. The body was j taken to the. home of Patrick Hallahan, I a brother-in-law. living at 714 North I Wyoming street, where the funeral was I held, proceeding to St. Mary's church, j where mass was celebrated at 9:30 o'clock. i |
