Show ALL INTERESTS THERE. Many Delegates Present at Wyoming Industrial Convention at Laramie. Laramie, Wyo., Dec. 11. The first Wyoming industrial convention opened in this city today at 2 o'clock. There are 150 delegates present, representing every section and every interest In this state. Governor Richards is chairman chair-man and C. G. Coutant, secretary- When the convention was called to order there were 500 people in the hall. Governor Richards made the opening address and Mayor Spicer delivered the welcome for Laramie. This was responded re-sponded to by W. C. Deming, editor of the Cheyenne Tribune. Dr. B. B. Brooks of Casper, a raiser of blooded stock, spoke of "Fine Cattle Cat-tle Breeding in Wyoming." I State Geologist Beeler spoke on "The I Mineral Resources of the State What We Have; What We Have Done; What We Must Do," Ex-United States Senator Carey spoke on "The Wheatland Irrigation Systii and Its Results," and made a very forcible address. A committee was appointed to make recommendation recommenda-tion for a Wyoming exhibit at the Louisiana purchase exposition in 1903. The evening session was devoted to addresses, the reading of papers and music. The following papers were read: L S. Bartlett, "Iron Deposits of Wyora-I Wyora-I ing;" George A. Nagle. "Manufacture I of Beet Sugar;" C. B. Richardson, I "Present Conditions in Wyoming;" I Professor W. C. Knight. "The Oils of I Wyoming;" Colonel W. F. Cody, "Un-I "Un-I developed Resources."
