Show j HELENA. St. John's Hospital Bazaar Gifc to Orphan's Home. The bazaar for the benefit of St. John's hospital opened at the Auditorium Audi-torium AVednesday evening. The committees com-mittees having the affair in charge are working industriously and with the liberal lib-eral patronage of the public during the week, hope to make the bazaar a fitting fit-ting testimonial of the appreciation by the people of the work being done by the sisters of charity. Instrumental and vocal music are provided for each evening, and an effort made to nleas those who attend. The weather clerk's donation of several sev-eral inches of snow gave lots of pleasure pleas-ure to the little folk especially, but a donation of a white article of an entirely en-tirely different variety meaning flour to St. Joseph's Orphans' home recently, re-cently, gave vastly more joy to the children of , that institution.' The donation dona-tion included two tons of flour, and" was made by Colonel Thomas Cruse. The Sisters having charge of the home and the children join in an expression . of hearty thanks to Colonel Cruse for ' the handsome gift. At the recent teachers' examination conducted by Miss Ida Fullerton the 'olio wing passed: For professional grade certificate. Miss Jennie Moor, Whitehall; first grade. Miss Anastasia Murphy, Marysville; Miss Elsie Ben-j Ben-j nett, Helena. - |
