Show ' DELIGHTFUL CARD PARTY. Miss Hester Lavell of Oakland, who has been the guest of Mrs. "A. H. Tar-bet Tar-bet for several months past, left during dur-ing the week for her home. On Friday last Miss Lavell was guest of honor at a 500 card party given by Mrs. George E. A iris, and which proved to be one of the very enjoyable events of the autumn season. Mrs. Thomas Kearns and Mrs. W. G. Lamb won the orizea in the game. The invited guests were Mrs. Thomas Kearns, Mrs. William H. Dickson, Mrs. George Sutherland. Mrs. Forrest F. Eccles, Mrs. O. K.
