Show I Obituary. McAllister. The death of Francis Leo McAllister, which occurred last week at his parents' par-ents' home, caused grief in the hearts of all who knew and loved the good, manlv boy. He was only ill a few-days few-days and his death is a terrible blow-to blow-to the parents and brothers to whom Francis was always the "baby" of the family. The deceased was born in Colorado and was 16 years old. His death removes from the community, com-munity, one who would become a valuable valu-able and respected citizen the kind that can ill be spared. Of a quiet, simple nature be tread life's way, eon- I stantly in the fear and love of God. I He was an ideal son. his devotion to his parents being a particularly beauti-I beauti-I ful trait of his character. Faithful to I every duty in his short but well spent life, Francis McAllister has passed to I the sunshine of God's presence to receive re-ceive the reward promised to those who die in the friendship of the Divine Saviour. The funeral took place from St. Mary's Cathedral on Monday after noon. j A large number of friends attended 1 to pay their last tribute to the boy ! they all respected and admired. I Rev. The music was well rendered by the Junior choir, Nellie Geary, Maida Hegney and Frances Little being the sweet soloists. A pretty and touching feature was the procession of ten little choir girls, who marched down the church carrying large bouquets of j wliitr ftii-rr Afrrjr rlacino- them on I the casket, the little ones with reverently rever-ently folded hands returned to the choir loft for the final hymn. The bereaved parents and relatives have the heartfelt sympathy of all their friends, but their greatest consolation conso-lation will come from the knowledge 1 that their dear one passed from, earth in the days of his youth, pure in' heart and soul. The lessons of goodness and piety instilled into his mind from babyhood : by his worthy parents, were not wasted. My he rest in peace! ' Taylor. The sympathy of many friends is 1 extended to Mr. and Mrs. John Taylor j over the loss of their baby. The little one was only ill a short time; she was j a winsome bright babe and in time the parents will be consoled with the re- membrance that their wee girl is safe forever in the tender keeping of the Divine One. Cairns, Sad indeed was the untimely death of John Cairns, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Cairns of this city. The cause of death was pneumonia. The young man had been attending the Vander Nailer school of engineering. He was 22 years old and leaves a father, mother and sister whose home is at 56$ East Brigham street. Mr.' Cairns went to San Francisco Wednesday Wednes-day night and will bring the body, to this city for interment. The sympathy; of a legion of friends is extended to the bereaved parents in their terrible grief. The deceased was a bright, popular young man and the sorrowing parents and sister have the sympathy of all who knew and admired the young .man. |
