Show GREAT FALL,S, MONT. Very beautiful were the ceremonies which were introduced in St. Ann's cathedral on Sunday, July 23, when nearly a hundred persons, mostly children chil-dren of the ages of 12 and 13 years, were confirmed by Bishop M. C. Leni-han Leni-han and received into full membership member-ship in the Catholic church. The church was crowded to - its greatest capacity by the parents and friends of the children and the altar was beautified by large bouquets of cut flowers. .Mr. and Mrs. John McAllister stood as sponsors for the children. During the administering of the sacrament the choir sang the different stanzas of "Veni Creator," and after the rite had ""been administered Bishop Lenihan addressed ad-dressed the children and their parents, congratulating them upon the care which had been shown in their religious relig-ious training and in their appearance at the. confirmation. .,-', The children then stood up and took the pledge of total abstinence from the use of liquors until they should become be-come 25 years of age. |
