Show j VIRGINIA CITY, NEV. j The body of the late Dan O'Connor was interred in the Catholic cemetery I Monday. Mrs. Josie Grant died at Santa Cruz, Cal., Tuesday. She was a native of County Waterford. Ireland, aged 32 years, and leaves five children, an aged mother and two sisters, Mrs. Patrick Connolly of this city and Mrs. H. Hal-lihna Hal-lihna of Tonopah. Died Jeremiah Lynch, aged GO years, a native of Ireland. He came to Butte ten years ago from Virginia City, New He worked in Sutro tunnel. He leaves several nephews, among them being Tim and Jack Lynch. He died Of pneumonia. pneu-monia. A long line of carriages followed the remains to the Catholic cemetery. Died Sirs. Julia Cotter, aged 70 years, a native of Ireland. She came to Virginia Vir-ginia City. New. in 18C4, and later moved to Utah, coming to Butte in 1888. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. John Layton. Mrs. Jerry Mahony and Mrs. Steve Parker. She died of Blight's disease. dis-ease. Died Mrs. Kate McCan. aged 3!) years. She was a native of Virginia City. Nev., and a niece of the late Mrs. Sarah Thornton, formerly of Virginia. She died of pneumonia. |
