Show I OBITUARY. i . i Judge. The funeral of Mrs. Mary Judge, yvho died in Salt Lake on Oct. 18, yvas held from the Catholic church in Park City, Tuesday, Oct. 23, Rev. Father Galligan officiating. The remains yvere taken up from Salt Lake, accompanied by John Judge, son of the deceased, Mrs. May Benson, Mrs. Joseph Franklin, Mrs. Lizzie Wrightson,' daughters: Mr. Franklin, Miss Clare Driscoll, William Driscoll and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Judge yvas the widow of the late James Judge. She was born in Port Henry, N. Y., on Jan. 20. 1842. When quite young she came yvest and resided in Park City for many years. The death of Mrs. Judge comes as a personal person-al sorrow to all in Park, who kneyv and loved her well. She yvas a perfect type of a truly Christian woman, an earnest Catholic, a faithful yvife, a' loving injwici emu lunuij iieiiiuur. i-iev. .f ather a-ther Galligan paid a touching tribute to her memory, one that was well deserved. de-served. Among her neighbors she was knoyvn as the "Good Samaritan," for in the homes where sickness, grief and death occurred she yvas always found, anxious to help to lighten the woes of soi rowing ones. In the hearts of all yvho knew the saintly little woman is sincere grief, but there is also the consolation con-solation of knowing that she has gone to receive the reyvard promised to the faithful who die in the Lord. To the bereaved ones is extended the sympathy sympa-thy of hosts of friends. The funeral was one of the largest ever held in Park City, and the floral offerings were beautiful. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace! |
