Show Memorial at Mt. Olivet. On Sunday, November 4, the annual memorial services will occur at Mt Olivet ceme'ery. Right Rev. Bishop Matz and the clergy of Denver will march through the cemetery chanting the litany of Saints and office of the dead. The orator of the day will be Rev. J. J. Donnelly, pastor of St. Francis Fran-cis de Sales church. Special cars will leave the Tramway loop at 2 o'clock and every fifteen minute-, thereafter for the accommodation of the hundreds who usually mingle their prayers with the bishops and priests on this solemn occasion. Rev. Hugh L. McMenanin has returned re-turned his duties at the cathedral after a delightful six weeks' vacation spent at his boyhood home in Pennsylvania. He also visited New York and other large eastern cities. Miss Josie Marion sails for Europe early in November to be gone all win--ter. Miss Agnes Roberts, after a stay of some months in Denver, left last week for her horns in Kansas City. Mr. and Mrs. John F. Campion and children will leave in a few days for their winter home at Santa Monica Cal. The Conventional High Five club met Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Harry Geier, 576 Logan avenue. The prize, a magnificent hand decorated tankard, wu won by Miss Katherine Flaherty. h The Nostri Nox "Foris is a new social so-cial club which held its initial meeting meet-ing Friday evening at the beautiful new home of Mr. John A. Keefe. 1601 York street. After the election of of-i fleers and selection of club colors cards were Indulged in and the following were the prize winners: Miss Grace Mowry, Miss Olive Marty, Mr. Fleisher and Mr. Ferguson. The club will meet on the first an! third Fridays of each month. The ladies' auxiliary to the Ancient Order of Hibernians gave a delightful card party and dance Tuesday evening, October 30, at their rooms in the Charles building. |
