Show INI'I CROP, GENTLEMEN Officers Detailed for Advance Sale of Seats for Press-Club Tom Show. Chief Pitt has kindly consented to detail de-tail policemen for duty in the Salt Lake theatre lobby during the days of the advance sale for th- Press club s "Tom Show." The sale is scheduled to begin the Friday before the performance, which will take place the evening of Feb. 3. , Heretofore there has been con-, siderable disorder, caused by peoplr who arrived late and who insisted ,011 pushing their way towards ih2 head of the line. The club appreciates the fact it is annoying to go over to the theatre to buy tickets and then be coinix-lled to walk clown to the city and county building in order to secure a olace in the line, but the suggestion is made that those who want to avoid this ti-ou-ble will be on hand early. A splendid rehearsal was hell Wednesday Wed-nesday on the stage of tha Majestic-theatre Majestic-theatre on East First South street. The cast was out in force. Every member knew, his Ii!es and the stage director, H. ll A. Culmer, said after the rehearsal rehear-sal was over that he felt sure the production pro-duction this year would easily excel anything the club has done. On account of the open winter it is feared that seme difficulty will be encountered in securing icebergs of sufficient size for the thrilling river scene. Tho club U hoping, however, that a spell of cold weather will intervene between now and Feb. 3 and tide this feature over. |
