Show PUEBLO, COLO. l i (Special Correspondence.) " , Last Sunday the Dramatic club, under direction of Rev.. P. Albert, gave an interesting and elaborate entertainment enter-tainment for the benefit of the church. The cry of "hard times" did not keep the crowd from attending this entertainment. enter-tainment. Although the St. Mary's hall is quite spacious, it was entirely too small to accommodate the audience. audi-ence. Three dramas were on the program. The first one, entitled "The Birth of Christ," is of strictly religious nature, na-ture, hence it was presented to the public in ancient costuming and scenery. scen-ery. Although the . drama in itself is very impressive, yet the tact and skill with which it was rendered proved that every member in the caste received re-ceived a special and particular training train-ing from the manager. The other two dramas, entitled "Mr. Kaska in America," Ameri-ca," and "The Peaceful Neighbors," were composed especially for the occasion occa-sion by a well known composer and an able member of the club. As Divine Providence has endowed the manager with a generous, cordial spirit, whose chief aim is to elevate the thoughts and inspire others with a desire of doing only what is good and noble, so naturally the entertainment was a grand success, both socially and financially. Through the efforts of Miss Kate Niznick the Crescent orchestra or-chestra surprised the audience by supplying sup-plying special selections of good music, thus adding their share of making the program still more interesting. Several Sev-eral piano duets were also played by the pupils of St. Mary's school. CHARACTERS. "The Birth of Christ."
