Show I" WEDDING BELLS. ( J ; I Miss Julia Cullen, daughter of Matthew Mat-thew Cullen. was married on Tuesday to Garrett Wilken by Rev. Father Kiely. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride's father. The bride entered the room on the arm of her father, Matthew Cullen. and attending her was her friend. Miss Kate Groo. Nelson Maynard was best man. Before the service began a string quartette quar-tette played the Mendelssohn "Spring Song," and during the ceremony "Trau-merie," "Trau-merie," ending the service with the Mendelssohn wedding march. Immediately after the marriage a buffet buf-fet luncheon was served to the guests in the dining room, where quantities of pink and white carnations and smilax made the table most attractive. Here Mi. Ezra Thompson poured coffee, and Mrs. Fred Leonard and Mrs. Stanley assisted as-sisted Mrs. Cullen in entertaining. In the drawing room, where the-ceremony was performed, ropes and smilax and numerous palms were used to form a bower for the bridal party, and in the back parlor the reds and greens of the holiday season were used. The bride wore a broadcloth suit of dark blue, with hat to match- her going-away gown and carried a great shower of white roses. Miss Groo's gown was of a lighter blue, with a hat also, and her flowers were deep rt'!i roses. Mr. and Mrs. Wilkin left on the afternoon train for San Francisco, to go thence to Los Angeles. They will bv home to eat their Christmas dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Cullen, and will be at home in Bingham after the middle of January. |
