Show Mrs. Joseph Stowe of Park City, who has been spending the past few days in the city, returned Saturday to her home. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lewis of Butte came to town last Saturday morning and left at noon for New Y'ork. They will be absent about a month. Mf. and Mns. Fitch and the Misses Fitch will shortly be at home in the James E. Jennings residence on East South Temple street. i Mrs. O. E. Gary was the hostess Monday Mon-day at a charmingly informal tea, when some of her friends enjoyed the opportunity of meeting her niece, Mise HoLmes, and the Misses Fitch. Bridge was played, and following a few interesting inter-esting games a dainty repast was served. Miss Alice ' Ewing Foote, niece of Samuel Ewing of this city, and now a junior at Wilson college, has 'just been appointed secretary of the Self Government Govern-ment association of the college. f Mrs. J. C. Dugaw of Bingham was in j the city last week. j J. C. Sullivan of Eureka spent last week in the city. Miss Minnie Cunningham, a popular young school teacher, of Park City, spent a few days here last week. Miss Maude' Hurley is visiting her mother, Mrs. J. Hurley in Tark City. Miss Katherine O'Brien will visit her sister, Mrs. Joseph Bircumfihaw in Park City, for the next few weeks. 4 Miss Margaret Shields returned last week from a visit to Park City, and has resumed her work at St. Mary's academy. |
