Shields was called to Salt Lake yesterday afternoon bv the death of her grandmother, Mrs. Long f Miss Minnie Cunningham returned from a visit to Salt Lake last week. , Miss Katherine Cunningham leturned to Salt Lake on Sunday. Miss Cunningham Cun-ningham is attending the state university, uni-versity, and is also studying music under un-der one of Salt Lake's best-known teachers. Miss Katherine O'Brien, a charming young lady of Salt Lake, is visiting h"r sister,- Mrs. Joseph Bircumshaw. -f Miss Virginia O'Connor, who has been visiting with her father, returned to her home in Zion last week. Mrs. P. H. Towey is visiting in the I city with her numberous friends and relatives. f ' Mr. Fred McFadden of Salt Lake visited several days in Park last week with Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Sherman. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Welsh snent New Y'ear's in the metropolis, the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Spalding. Jerry McCarthy, a young man who has been in Park City a little over a year, died here Saturday afternoon of pneumonia. Deceased had been sick but two days. A brother of the dead man was notified of the death of his brother and at once started for Park City from Butte. Mont. |
