Show SALT LAKE THEATRE. PARSIFAL. To the many readers and students of the legendary stories of the "Holy Grail." especially as understood un-derstood in Wagner's beautiful spectacle spec-tacle of "Parsifal," and to those vho witnessed this splendid production at the time of its presentation here, its Christian symbolism and teachings will be readily recognized and appreciated. appre-ciated. One can also see in it a magnificent magni-ficent and impressive spectacle, the equal of which has heretofore never been witnessed, for its entrancing story and regal environments, such a production must necessarily d?mand more than the ordinary in equipment, cast and treatment, in order to do justice jus-tice to so worthy a theme. These requirements, re-quirements, v.e are assured, will be completely fulfilled during the return engagement at the Salt Lake theatre. Friday and Saturday, November 2nd and 3rd. Owing to the unusual length of the performance, the curtain will rise for the first act promtly at 7:45. There aro four acts, each one of which requires about forty minutes for its enactment. The intermissions are comparatively short and the final curtain falls at 11 o'clock. It is one of the rules of the performance, and "he management gives the assurance that the rule will be strictly enforced, that every one must be reated before the theatre is darkened, Which means, before the music mu-sic begins. Late comers will not be shown to their seats until the conclusion conclu-sion of the a?t. Warning of the procch for time of commencement will be given by trumpeters in the lobby entrance. |
