Show j ROCK SPRINGS, WY0. A three days' fair, beginning on Decoration Dec-oration day, May 31, and ending June 2, will be held at the Union opera house. Most valuable prizes donated by ou generous storekeepers and citizens will be distributed each evening. Also three magnificent oil paintings, the works of famous artists, an expensive diamond ring, lady's gold watch and chain, Mexican Mex-ican drawnwork, bed spreads and centerpieces, cen-terpieces, Irish embroidered bed spread, parlor table and chairs, buffet, gent's suit case and various other articles. A dance will bring to a close each night's entertainment. Henry Vallez and little' daughter of Bay City, Mich., were guests of Mrs. W. H. O'Donnell last week. T. W. Boyer has accepted a portion as casnier or the Continental National bank of Salt Lake City. Mr. Boyer has been cashier of the First National ' bank here for eight years, and has many business interests in Wyoming, which he will still retain when he goes to,- Salt Lake to locate. Mrs. J. W. O'Donnell Invited a few of the old friends of Mrs. A. J. Wipper-man Wipper-man to meet her on Thursday evening. A card game was arranged, in which Mesdames Wassung and Juel won the prizes. Late In the evening the urussts enjoyed a delicious supper. The Wednesday Card club met out of the usual order last week to honor Mrs. A. J. Wlpperman of Idaho Falls, one-time member of the club. Mrs. Jo-selph Jo-selph M. Hay was the hostess, and the affair was most delightful. Dainty souvenirs sou-venirs of the games were awarded to Mesdames Young, Juel, O'Donnell and Wlpperman. At 5 o'clock the guest gathered around the tea table for a social hour while they enjoyed a del -clous luncheon. |
