The members of the Foynes Gaelic league have passed a resolution of deep regret on the death of Mrs. Charlotte Grace O'Brien. The resolution states that Misfi O'Brien was a staunch supporter sup-porter of the Irish revival, and every movement having for its obiect the bet terment of the Irish people. Galway. The death is very much regretted at Galway of Mother Mary Magdalen Golden, the superioress of the Presentation Presenta-tion convent, which occurred recently at an advanced age. Deceased, who was a native of Shrule, celebrated her golde n jubilee only a few weeks ago. She, had been elected Rev. Mother of the convent no less than. seven times. Mayo. Rev. P. O'Flaherty, C. C, Castlebar, has been promoted to be P. P. of Kee-logues. Kee-logues. His late parishioners, while intensely in-tensely gratified at his promotion, are much grieved at losing one who so long ministered so successfully amongst them.
