Show EASTER DAY. Christ is Risen! The beautiful faith of the early Christians has been re-echoed all down the ages. Sec on the "silent tombs" o,f the catacombs of Rome the strong witness to a living faith. As one has recently written : "Today I pass Kach silent tomb, reading its words of trust 'Agape, thou shalt live for ever;' "Thou Marcus, art gone to God.' 'Timothea, Thou shalt awake again.' So full, so clear. The hope, 'tis as a bird's note in the night. And at the song the very darkness thrill-"." Today our watchword is the. same Christ is Risen! But the watchword must not f? only the triumph cry of the church: it must be the cry of the individual soul Christ has risen for Me. "Hast thou not known Him, living in thy life, Felt in the impulse of a power within.
