Show Knights of Columbus Notes. The minstrel show that all amusement seekers have been waiting for so long, will be given at the Salt Lake theatre on Monday evening, May 17, by the Salt Lake council of the Knights of Columbus. Colum-bus. The company, which comprises fifty artists of wide reputation, has been practicing hard and earnestly for some time past, and is prepared to give Salt Lakers a bright, lively show of unusual un-usual cleverness. The program, which has been carefully care-fully selected and arranged by Rex King, the minstrel prince, is without a doubt the finest and best ever produced In the city. It includes, among other attractions, eighteen of the very latest songs, which have just been received from the publishers. There are in the company twenty-one artists in the circle and ten end men springing the latest and best jokes; twenty-five young ladies in something new, artistic and original, up-to-date clever sketches by" good comedians, English and German quartettes, splendid splen-did dances, musical artists and the best chorus ever heard in minstrelsy. The show is for one night only, and the advance sale of seats promises outstanding out-standing room for those who delay. The proceeds will be added to the fund the council has already created for a new home, a building which will do good for the younger generation, while it will also add greatly to the beauty and splendor of the beautiful valley of Salt Lake. The prices of admission are $1, 75 cents and 50 cents. The box office will be opened on Friday morning, May 14, at which time all tickets may be exchanged ex-changed for scats. I am going 'to the K.
