Ireland has long been noted for the beauty of its arts and grafts, but the 'stained glass industry, established a little over a year ago, has surpassed all expectations, and proved a revelation of t Impossibility Im-possibility of really artistic work of the-kind 1-cing successfully accomplished by women.' students m Ireland. . .- Miss Purser, the inaugurate!- of the industry, who is a member of the Royal Hibernian academy, acad-emy, has made the undertaking a thoroughly practical prac-tical one. The students are instructed by the best teachers, and the system is similar to that -practiced in mediaeval days.
