Show organization of Companies 1 and 2, they have given an annual dance on February 14 of each year, but this year on account of the Locomotive Firemen securing the hall on Feb. 12, the annual dance will be given on Jan. 15, 1915, the proceeds to be used to improve the fire fighting efficiency of both companies. We must not forget to mention the valuable assistance rendered by the Bingham police force at the time of fire. The town board is to be complimented on the installation installa-tion of the present . water system which greatly improves the fire protection pro-tection of tiie town. FIRE COMPANY HR TWO WORTHY OF PRAISE I - t In reviewing the organizations of Bingham that are working for a bigger and better town, Company No. 2 of Volunteer Firemen stands out amoug the leaders. From a company of six members meeting in the Bingham I'oal snd Lumber company's office elgiit years ago, the membership has increased to forty loyal and true boosters who meet every Tuesday night at their new ball on lower Main .street. Headed by Captain Albert Marriott, a hard working and energetic ener-getic young man who has headed the organization for four out of eight years, assisted by First Assistant Captain Cap-tain J. E. Hall, Second Assistant Captain Cap-tain Fred Metcalf and I. M. Gaueuet, who baa held the office of secretary-treasurer secretary-treasurer since the organization of Company No. 2, the boys stand ready and willing to assist the citizens ln any way to Improve the town at !arg, At present they are planning to Install In-stall a library and reading room for the use of members ard friends.
