Bear Lake county, has been awarded the $100 scholarship- to the University Uni-versity of Idaho by the Idaho Committee on .the Relation of Electricity to Agriculture for outstanding out-standing 4-II club work, announced announc-ed Hobart Beresford. project leaded lead-ed for the Committee and Idaho agricultural engineer. A club member for eight years, Miss Sirrine has carried projjecls in canning, baking, nutrition, sewing, sew-ing, room improvement, and beef cattle. Her award will be available upon up-on enrollment in home economics or agriculture at the slate university. univer-sity. The award is based upon 4-H 4-H membership as well as compliance compli-ance with the regulations which require a study of rural electrification electrifi-cation on the farm and a story of how electricity aids agricultural production and farm life. Her study included the preparation of a plan for the wiring and arrangement arrange-ment of lighting and convenience outlets in the farm home. |
