Show Hillside Rodeo Stock Improved For 1941 Szoiv, Reports Indicate Stock to be used in Preston's Famous Xight Rodeo this --ear will be better than ever before... that was the prediction handed down by Rodeo Chairman Ed Crockett and Secretary Mel Reeves of the C. of C. following a "pre-I "pre-I vue" at Rupert on July 4. Mr. and Mrs. Crockett and Mr. and Mrs. Reeves made the trip to tile Rupert celebration to look over the stock used by the Hillside Rodeo Ro-deo company who will also furnish the stock for Preston's big show-on show-on Augmt 22-23. They reported good stock all the way through. The new stock added add-ed to the string of bucking horses greatly improves that feature, and very few of the Rupert riders managed man-aged to stay astride their mounts. The full string of big Brahma l ulls and calves were particularly impressive, they report. Considerable interest has been shown in preliminary arrangements arrange-ments for the Preston Horse Show to be held on August 21. and if advance ad-vance reports are indicative, this section of the big celebration will reach a new high. |
