Show MISS RUTH HADDON WEDS CLIFTON MAN Mr. and Mrs. John Haddon have announced the marriage of their daughter Ruth, to Floyd Weir, s'ui of Mr. and Mrs. John Weir of Clifton. The marriage took place in Preston last Sunday, October 20. ONEIDA SINGING MOTHERS SCHEDULE PRACTICE The Oneida Stake Singing Mothers Moth-ers will hold a practice in the Preston Pres-ton Fourth ward chapel Sunday, October 27, at 1 p. m., it was announced an-nounced today. A full attendance is desired. ,' CENTRAL PARENTS' STUDY GROUP TO HOLD MEET "The New System of Teaching at the Central School" will be the topic discussed at the Parents' Study Group to be held at the Central Cen-tral school at 4 p. m. next Mon day. Teachers o the school will treat various phases of the methods meth-ods used in their teaching, and a round table discussion will follow. Parents of children attending the Central will find this a helpful and interesting program. HOSTESS TO STUDY CLUB ON FRIDAY Mrs. Lillis Anderson was hostess to the Study club last Friday evening eve-ning at her home. Mrs. Eliza Bingham Bing-ham presented the lesson. Miss LaVauna Anderson who is visiting here from California was a special guest. Thirteen members were present. BOOK OF MORMON CLASS HOLDS PARTY The girls o the Book of Mormon Mor-mon class of the Third ward Sunday Sun-day School enjoyed a delightful pot luck supper and party last Monday evening at the home of Miss Mary Lou Hawkes. The girls came dressed as children and were entertained with children's games. Mrs. Nellie Page and Miss Viola Esplin, the instructors, were also present. Eighteen members were in attendance. o o |
