Show GLENDALE GLEN'DALE Among those who attended the funeral services of Mrs. Sarah Porter in Lewiston Wednesday were: Mr. and Mrs. Denton Webster, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Petterborg, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Asa Webster and family, Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Webster, Web-ster, Mr. and Mrs. Leland L Auger. Mr. and Mrs. Gleen Jensen and family, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wanner and Mr. and Mrs. William Auer Mrs. Edna Xelson and Mrs. Eu-lalia Eu-lalia Larsen motored to Salt Lake City, Utah, Thursday where they will spend a few weeks visiting with friends and relatives. Roual Wheeler visited with friends in Glencoe, Idaho, Sunday. Miss Sarabeth Larsen is spend, ing two weeks in Preston, Idano, with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Larsen. Mrs. Alice Auger and children, David and Lois of Winder, Idaho, are spending a few days here visiting vis-iting with relatives and friends. Dean Webster of Pocatello, Idaho, Ida-ho, and Miss Gladys Webster of Los Angeles, Calif., after attending the funeral services of their grandparents, grand-parents, Mrs. Sarah Porter Wednesday Wed-nesday spent a few days visiting with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Asa Webster Miss Joyce Owen had as her visitors vis-itors over the week-end the Misses Irene and Maxine Bosworth ol Preston, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Manning of Preston, Idaho, called on George Wheeler and other relatives Sunday Sun-day afternoon. Ernest Spatig of Mapleton, Ida ho, Mrs. Merlin Gilbert . and Mrs. Wayne Wiser of Lewiston, Utah, ware among those who were here on business this week. Mrs. Emma Auger in compan with Mr. and Mrs. Ben Housley ol Lewiston, Utah, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Housley of Dayton, motored to Blackfoot, Idaho, Tuesday where they attended the funeral of A. 0. Allen. Mr. and Mrs. Oleen A. Jensen spent Tuesday night in Ogden, Utah, with relatives. Miss Ruth Hadden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hadden was married Sunday at Preston, Idaho, to Floyd Wier of Clifton, Idaho. The couple will make their home in Clifton. A number of women attended the Relief Society Stake convention held in Preston Sunday. Leland L. Auger was appointed with five others from the county as field supervisors for cheeking winter wheat on the agricultural soil conservation program. Field work began Monday morning, October Oc-tober 21. Misses Carma and Eva June Wanner spent Sunday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Hadden. Had-den. Mrs. Mary Coburn is teaching s-chool again this week after having hav-ing been home with her son Don who has been ill the past two weeks. Don is reported improving rapidly. Norman Nelson and daughters, Colleen and Norma Jean spenl Saturday and Sunday in Weston, Idaho, visiting with Mrs. Annie Olsen. n n |
