Show DEMOCRATS HEAR STATE CANDIDATES The second Democratic rally in Franklin county on behalf oi state candidates was held last Friday evening in the recreation room of the county icourt house. State speakers present were Bert Miller, candidate for Attorney-General, and Arthur Campbell, candidate for Mine Inspector.. Mr. Campbell told of the mining conditions of the state and urged the building of an experimental station to be built i?i the southeastern south-eastern part, of the state to make the available phosphate beds available avail-able for distribution to the farms of the state. Bert Miller, attacked the present political machine now in control of the state and accused them of I wild uses of the funds of the state to build a political machine to keep the man power. He claimed the Slate House was no longer largo enough to hold the officers but that the state has rented every available building in Boise lo house their useless politically made officers. The meeting was conducted by George Choules who introduced lc':al candidates. Supporting numbers num-bers included an accordian solo by Leona llriteubeker. vocal solo, and a violin solo by Lloyd Ileckuleail Jr. |
