Show CLARK MAKES APPOINTMENTS Governor-elect Chase A. Clark made public Tuesday the appointment appoint-ment of four men o important state positions. James B. Newport of Parma, former president pro tempore ol the Idaho State senate, wa named to succeed E. N. Pettygrove as commissioner of agriculture. Joseph Jo-seph Andreasen of St. Anthony was named to succeed Paul Rowell as director of the bureau of plant industry. in-dustry. J. W. Cornell was reappointed reap-pointed for another six-year term to the position of member of the Idaho Public Utilities commission And George W. Suppiger of Moscow Mos-cow was reappointed member ot the industrial aocident board for another six-year term. Clark has been ill, with influenza since last aturday and has been ordered or-dered home to rest by a physician Because of this he is expected to make no more appointments public unti Friday. Previous appointments already made known include E. H. Berg of Idaho. Falls to be commissioner of reclamation in succession to James O. Spofford and J( L. (Jack) Bal-derston Bal-derston to succeed Harry M. Ray-ner Ray-ner as commissioner of law enforcement. en-forcement. Brigadier General M. G. McConnell was reappointed adjutant-general. |
