Show BOWLERS ORGANIZE FOR LEAGUE PLAY Carlton Doud, manager of the local bowling alleys, announced this week that plans are rapidly being completed for organization of a local bowling league to begin play the first part of next week. Ten teams have entered for league play so far and Mr. Doud anounces that if two more teams enter two leagues will be formed. Little doubt was expressed aboul two more teams coming in as bowling bowl-ing has definitely proved to be a popular sport in Preston. So far the following teams have organized for play: Preston Bike Shop, Dee's Drive Inn; Franklin County Sugar Factory, CCC camp, J. C. Penney company, Shell Service, Ser-vice, Winget's, Rotary, Jr. Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce and Utah Power and Light. n n |
