Show HIGHLY ESTEEMED FRANKLIN MAN PASSES THURSDAY Joseph John Hill, S2, of Franklin died at an early hour Thursday morning. He was recognized as an outstanding business man and church worker ami succumbed to ailments incident to age. Ho had been a resident of Franklin Frank-lin for tile past 4S years coining there from Ugdon. Utah, where he was born September ;i, 1SGS, a sou of George W. and K'ynlhia Stewart Hill. He was a High Priest in Frank-l.n Frank-l.n stake and had served as ,super-inlciident ,super-inlciident oi! Sunuay schools in the Old Oneida Sake for many years. He was also a number of the old Oneida stake High Council and was ward clerk and town clerk at Franklin. lie married Martha Slowell in Salt Lake Endowi lent house, June 28, 1S7S. liesides his wife the following sons and daughters survive him; Mrs. Cynthia Gardner of Logan; Bishop Parley Hill of the Logan Twelfth ward;" Joseph J. Hill of Berkeley, Calif.; Mrs. Ethel Willie of Mendon; Mrs. Edith Brown of Weiser; Charles S. Hill of Fresno, California; Mrs. Alameda Gardner of Coalville; Golden R. Hilt of Salt Lake; Mrs. Rachel Barker of Wil. lard; George W. Hill of Nampa; Maggie Hill of Franklin; and Amnion Am-nion J. Hill of Compton, California. Forty-two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral arrangements are being made by the W. Loyal Hall mortuary mort-uary oj Logan, Utah. |
