Show PRESTON FUTURE FARMERS PLACE HIGH IN SPUD SHOW The Preston chapter of Future Farmers returned Wednesday evening eve-ning after competing with thirteen other sfchools in the contests held at Shelley in connection with the Idaho Potato show. Winning first place, at the meet was Malad high school with a total to-tal score of 742.7 out of a possible 900 points. Second place was won by Rigby with a point total of 733.8. Preston finished third with 713. Other schools finished as follows: Midway, fourth; Salmon, fifth; Ida ho Falls, sixth; St. Anthony, seventh; sev-enth; Ucon, eighth; Grace, ninth; Downey, tenth; Shelley, eleventh; Rupert, twelfth; and Firth,, thirteenth. thir-teenth. High individual of the contest was Albert Erramouspe of Malad with a score of 263.2. He was followed fol-lowed by Tom Parry of Malad, Ray Walker of Midway and Steven Mortensen of Preston. The boys graded 50 potatoes on the basis of U. -S. No. 1 U. S. No. 2, and culls; they also graded ten potatoes on the same basis and gave oral reasons for their selections. selec-tions. Steven Mortensen, LaVar Smith, and Charles Choules represented the Preston chapter with Dallas Gilbert as alternate. They were accompanied to the contest by their instructor William Craner.
