Show ILLNESS FATAL TO MRS. IDA BECKSTEAD AT HOME ON MONDAY Deatii came to Mrs. Ida Lucinda Jenkins Beckstead, 55, wife of Eugene Eu-gene Beckstead, at the family home Monday after a lingering illness. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon in the Sixth ward chapel under the direction of the Richard's mortuary. Burial was in the city cemetery. Mrs. Beckstead was born at East Jordan on January 15, lSSr, a daughter of Thomas; and Minerva Beckstead Jenkins. On April 12, 1904 she married Mr. Beckstead in Logan. Her life has been spent in ac-( tive service in both nome nnd ward activities. She served tn the presidencies of the Relief Society, Primary and Mutual organizations and at the time of her death was engaged" in genealogical work. Mrs. Beckstead is survived by her husband, her mother, Mrs. Minerva Ainscough and the following follow-ing children; Mrs Ora Nelson, Mrs. Florence Naef, Theron and Mrs. Vila Lewis, all of Preston; and Mrs. Lucille Martin and Darrell of Pasadena, California; nine grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. LLzzie Bosworth of Preston, Mrs. Myrtle Swainston and Mrs. Anna Hansen of Jerome, A. J. Jenkins of Poca-tello; Poca-tello; Calvin Jenkins of Los Angeles An-geles and Sam Jenkins of Long Beach, Calif. |
