Show FINE ARTS MEETING AT PALMER HOME t!, Mrs. Wm. Palmer was hostess t members and their guests of the Fine Arts 'dub Monday evening at her home. The program, "Modern Poets an '. Poetry," was given by Miss Vir ginia; Merrill. A vocal trio, Mrs. Merlin Smith, Mrs. Angus Condio and Mrs. Milford Crabtree sang two numbers. Their pianist was Mrs. John Weber. The serving table, covered wi.h a lace cloth was centered with miniature flags and red tapers conveying con-veying the patriotic decoration. Luncheon was served to forty-six women. Mrs. Theron Neeley as sisted the hostess. BOO MALIE CLUB AT McCLUNt HOME Members of the Boo Malie club met last Wednesday evening at the home of I.Irs. David McClun. The appointmi-.its at the luncheon tables ta-bles were in the Valentine theme. Those v. inning score honors were Mrs. Hazel McAlister, high, Mrs. Saras Rallison, low. Mrs. Grace Packer was awarded the a.I-cut pi-ize. VALENTINE .PARTY Mrs. Jess Packard entertained for her daughter, Jo Ann at a Valentine Val-entine party last Friday afternoon. after-noon. Luncheon was served at s:x o'clock to twelve little guests. Tno Valentine motif was used at the cleverly arranged tables. Following the luncheon, games were played at which numerous prizes were awarded. PINOCHLE .PARTY Mr. and Mrs. Victor Christensen entertained their club assnciiles Friday, evening at their home. Diversion Di-version of the evening was pinochle. Score prizes were won by Donald L. Poage and Mrs. Iris Harmeu. At the conclusion of the evening a mid-night supper was served to eight guests. Mrs. Elizabeth Howell who was 95 years old on February 1 was honored on Valentine Day by the Daughters of Pioneers from the different camps of Franklin county coun-ty who sent flowers and candy.
