Show Mrs. McGregor' j Daughter, Win Chicago Visit ' Wednesday, November 26, at Pocatelio, a banquet was held in honor of Mrs. J. D. McGregor. It 'was under the supervision or the Pocatelio Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. McGregor, club leader, left the same evening for the boys' and i girls' club congress in Chicago. Accompanying Mrs. McGregor, was her daughter, Margaret. Mrs. McGregor 'has been leader of the XCello club for thej past 15 years. Margaret in her eight years of club work has 'completed 17 projects proj-ects including canning, sewing, room improvement, nutrition, and baking. She has won' five gold medals and two trips to the Boise State fair where she and her teammate team-mate placed third in the year of 1940 and second in the year of 1941. She was high score judge in thp roiintv and flip state fair this year and second high score in the year of 1939. She has been a mem-ber mem-ber of he high score team in Bannock Ban-nock county for the past four years. This year she placed first in the style show in the 'county and was in the red ribbon group in the state. Miss McGregor says that canning has been her favorite project and has canned over eight hundred quarts of fruit in her six years of canning. n n |
