Show HIGH SCHOOL PLAY THREE-ACT COMEDY Rehearsals are now well under way for the Preston High's annual school play, "June Mad." It is a three-act comedy and is being directed di-rected by Miss Agnes Howe. It will be presented in the Preston high school auditorium December 12, at 8 p. m. The story is of the love problem of fifteen-year-old Penny Wood. It takes place in the Woods' home. The characters are: Penny Wood played by Valetta Evans; Mrs. Wood, Penny's mother, played by Roma Neilson; Dr. Wood, Penny's father, a physician, played by Or-vid Or-vid Ray Cutler; Chuck Harris, a 16-year-old, still in that gangling age, played by Keith Bergquist; Mervin Roberts, a college fresh man just home from college, played by Richard Merrill; Roger Van Vlick, Mervyh's college chum, rich and conceited, played by Billy Raymond; Ray-mond; Juliet Harris, Chuck's sister sis-ter and Mervyn's latest heart throb, played by Barbara Parkinson; Mr. Harris, Julie's and Chuck's ratner, Calvin Taylor; Shirley and Ralph Wentworfh, friends of the Woods, Norma Kofoed and Ronald Drury; Effie, the Wood's maid, Cleo Fryer; Fry-er; Elmer Tuttle, hired man, Nolan Sharp; Milly Lou, a neighborhood nuisance, played by Peggy Steers. It should be good. |
