Show PUBLIC GIVES 1941 CHEVROLET HUGE RECEPTION SAN FRANCISCO in an address ad-dress before more than 1,000 Chev-olet Chev-olet dealers in the Pacific Coast region attending a sales conference confer-ence here today, M. E. Coyle. general gen-eral manager, Chevrolet Motor division, di-vision, announced that in less than two months since the public presentation pres-entation of its new 1941 models. Chevrolet has produced 200,000 cars and trucks of the 1941 series. The 200,000th production unit rolled roll-ed off the assembly lines this morning in approximately six weeks after the ne.v 1911 cars made their debut. An unusually high production rate has been maintained at Chevrolet Chev-rolet plants since the new models were put In production. At the St. Francis hotel today, Mr. Coyle said that this pace will be maintained main-tained for an indefinite period of time in order to meet the demands of the public who have given the Chevrolet 1941 models (he most enthusiastic reception of any new cars in the history of the company. |
