Show FRANKLIN MINSTREL BENEFIT SHOW SET FOR FRIDAY, 28 FRANKLIN (Special) The ward Sunday School is sponsoring a 'Darkie Minstrel" Show Friday, March 28! at 8 p. m. in the school recreation hall. Proceeds of Ui3 show will be contributed con-tributed to the ward chapel building build-ing fund aiut a large attenociice will be appreciated. Mrs. Marlow Woodward is director with Pollie Parkinson as accompanist and Lorin Lo-rin Hampton as 'manager, assisled by William Smith and Cyril Lowe. Howard Christeusen will act as n-terlocoter n-terlocoter with Glen Allen,, Reed Jamison and Ivan Woodward as end men. Specialty numbers will include an accordian solo by Leona Britenbeker, novelty1 stunts by Lar-en Lar-en Bright, and tap dance by Colleen Coburn all of Preston; music and songs by Seth Ghristensen of Richmond and 'darkie' stunts by Bill Smith. Other 'characters in the chorus and in special numbers arc, Douglas Doug-las Oliverson, Cyril Lowe, Reed Stockdale, Homer D. Williams, Ivan Woodward, Sr., Betty Lowe, Helen Coowe, Phyllis Stokes, Ivan H, Woodward, Fern Shumway, Calvin Parkinson, Shirley Stokes, Myrtle Woodwarl, Vella Woodward, Hazel Oliverson, Margaret Adam-son Adam-son and Reed Jamison. The program will include, darkie Jokes, songs, music, tap and Jitterbug Jit-terbug dancing and novelty stunts. |
