Show Impressive Funeral Services Held Friday For Mrs. E. G. Eames Very impressive funeral services were held for Preston Pioneer Elizabeth Greaves Eames, Friday, May S, in the Third ward chapel with Bishop Alfred Kern in charge. Services opened by the choir singing, sing-ing, "Sister, Thou Art Mild and Lovely.'' Prayer was by George V. Jay of Ogden and a ladies quartett composed of Iris Hawkes, Selma Johnson, Mary Johnson and Hat-tie Hat-tie Greaves sang the second song. Wm. Hawkes, Jr., used the opening open-ing song as the text for his talk. The second speaker was Dr. T. R. Gledhill from Richfield, Utah. Mrs. Josephine Spilsbury sang a vocal solo and Hyrum Jensen and Serge B. Benson of Logan were the next speakers. All these men praised this noble mother for her love and kindness to all and her great faith in the gospel. Closing song was by the choir and the benediction was pronounced by President ' Phenoi Edgley. |
