Show LO PINE CAMP OF DUP HAS MEETING Mrs. Phenol Edgley was hostess to the May meeting of the Lo Pine camp of the DUP last Wednesday afternoon at her home. Mrs. Winnie Win-nie Nielson presented the lesson and Mrs. Lucy Hendricks sketched the life of an original pioneer. Other program numbers included a piano selection by Mrs. Edgley and a reading by Allie Jean Nielson. Four special guests and twelve members were served refreshments refresh-ments by the hostess. Mr. and Mrs. Vern W. Yeates and-two and-two children of Sacramento, Calif., are visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Richards of Perston and Mrs. John Yeates at Nibley, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lee were overnight over-night visitors at the home of his sister, Mrs. Jack Hancey, in Salt Lake City last Wednesday. Mrs. Elsie Weaver accompanied the couple to Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Frank T. Merrill had as their guests on Mothers' Day Mr. and. Mrs. Grant B. Merrill of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Merrill of Twin Falls. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Hart of Montpelier were week-end guests in Preston and Fairview. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Rallison of Ogden visited here during the week end holiday. Mrs., Amelia J. Johnson of Battle Ground, Washington, is visiting her sister and brother, Miss Mabel Jones and Richard Jones. Mrs. Edgar Ed-gar Johnson and children of Eden, Utah, spent last week at the Jones 1 a w, M r s. Johnson of Battle-Ground. Battle-Ground. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams, Mrs. Toby Merrill and son, Geary, visited Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Chris-tensen Chris-tensen at Idaho Falls on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Merham and daugfiter, Evelyn, of San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Calif., were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Wursten the past week. They were here to attend at-tend the funeral of Patriarch Leon-idas Leon-idas Meeham. |
