Show First Aid Class Set For Monday Other County Residents Given Opportunity To Enroll In OCD Classes The Red Cross First Aid class which is being conducted weekly for representatives of all county communities, Legionnaires, Firemen, Fire-men, Aid Raid Wardens and other interested persons will be reld next Monday evening instead of the regular Tuesday evening period to allow those ienrolled in the class to attend the high school graduation gradua-tion exercines, Instructor Scott Dunlop announced. The regular Tuesday evening period will he continued the following week and for the remaining classes of the ten week course. Because of the growing interest in this First Aid course which is sponsored by the OCD and conducted conduct-ed by Sheriff Lee Hansen and Mr. Dunlop other persons who desire may join the class at the next meeting. In order to receive a standard certificate in Red Cross First Aid a student must complete some twenty hours of class work. This will mean that persons entering the course at this time will nave to spend one evening in makeup work. The instructors are willing to make arrangements for this extra class if it is desired. If, however, a person per-son already has a First Aid Standard Stand-ard certificate he may still acquire ac-quire an Advanced card by attending attend-ing the remainder of the classes. |
