Show u o ISIS THEATRE TEN PLACES THIRD IN UTAH-IDAHO MEET The Isis theatre Softball team closed their 1040 season last Friday Fri-day at Logan by placing third in the annual Utah-Idaho Softball tournament. The meet was won by Cliff's Service of Wellsville, Utah, with second place going tc Reddy Kilowatt, Ogden cily chain-pious. chain-pious. The Isis theatre team won their first game from the Fronk Chevro. let team of Tremonton, Utah. The score was 11-10. In the second game the Isis ten lost a close ball game to the Og den champions by the score of 3-1 Errors spelled the downfall of th6 Preston team as Wockli, Preston pitcher, let up only two hits while his mates were getting four hits off Glenn Cherry, celebrated Ogden chucker. In the final game last Friday the Preston team defeated Garland Grocery of Garland, Utah, for third place. Preston scored four runs in the first inning on two hits and two errors and then were let down, with only one hit and without another an-other run during the rest of the game.. Garland's lone run came in the fourth inning. Teams finished in the tournament tourna-ment as follows; Cliff's Service of Wellsville, first; Reddy Kilowatt of Ogden second; Isis Theatre of Preston! third; Grant's Bike of Logan, fourth; Garland Grocery of Garland, Gar-land, fifth; and Hyrum, sixth.
